What is vascular disease?

Vascular disease encompasses a range of conditions that affect the blood vessels in your body, including arteries, veins, and capillaries. These conditions can disrupt the flow of blood throughout your body, leading to various complications.

Type of vascular disease and symptoms:

  • Peripheral Artery Disease: a circulatory condition characterized by narrowed arteries that reduce blood flow to the limbs, typically the legs.
  • Fibroids: noncancerous tumors that grow in the uterus that lead to heavy menstrual bleeding, increased abdominal size and stomach bulkiness, and pelvic pain/pressure
  • Knee Pain: results from various factors such as arthritis, injury, or chronic wear and tear and can lead to a diminished quality of life, limited mobility, and pain and discomfort.
